Yesterday at my mom's house Palmer said, "Ball."!! He was referring to the golf balls my sister Rachel was washing and decorating. Palmer is 18 months old and doesn't talk. At all. He has said "Dada" (of course) for a couple months but nothing else. Just a lot of grunting and whining. We were so proud and very surprised! He loves throwing balls, especially for Duke (our dog). So it only makes sense that his first (real) word would be ball...

What a big boy!!! Jake swears that Kai was saying a few words yesterday, too, although it's not as clear as Palmer's "ball"!!! How cute! I figure he'll be the only 1st grader doing sign language...
That was adorable!! You can tell how proud he is to say the word!!!! Teagan's word for ball is grunting while pretending to throw....hehehe We hear lots of grunting and whining over here too.
SO smart!! He's coming along!
