19 hours later...

...we're back in Idaho. Race season is over. It went by so fast. We had so much fun and are excited for next year. Garth ended up 2nd in the stock class that he was tied for first in. Levi LaValle won the final race beating Garth out of the championship. It was kind of a bummer but good to see someone get it who works really hard and deserved it just as much as Garth did.


The trip home was a little longer than usual. We had to detour around flooding roads in North Dakota. We drove through a town that was flooded already. The water level was half way up the first story of people's homes. Sad.


Palmer was not happy about being in the car that long. Neither were we. It was nice to get home...

One last race...

Only one race left to go! Where did this race season go? It has been a blast and Garth has done well (which always makes it more fun). The season finale is in Lake Geneva, WI. Garth is going into the weekend tied for first place in the Pro Super Stock year end points, which will make Saturday's racing very exciting. Every race will count towards the points. I'm excited to go back home but sad the season is coming to an end.

Palmer

Palmer is growing so fast. He is so much fun. He loves to get into my purse and pull stuff out of it. He also recently figured out how much he loves to climb up on the dishwasher. Evertime he hears the drawers pull out he comes crawling in really fast to try to make it in time to get into it.

He loves shoulder rides with dad. They have so much fun together! Garth is a great dad!

Here he is at a hotel having an orange. He was liking the rinds better. They probably felt good on his little teething gums!
